| What is Powder Coating |
| Powder coating is exactly what it sounds like. It is taking a piece of a metal object, cleaning it down too bare metal, Once the metal object is clean then hook up to device that negatively charge the metal object then the color powder is sent through the spraying gun which positively charges the powder which adheres to the metal object. When the metal is covered with the color powder it is then place in a oven which heats the object to certain temperature. The powder then starts to flow like paint covering the part in all places. When the part has cooled down you get a really shinny finish on the object and looks like a professionally paint job. |
